Should I rush a black sorority?

Take a step back and think about why you want to join a sorority. Do you just want to have a group of girlfriends, or do you honestly believe in what these organizations stand for. As long as you exemplify the type of woman that the sorority stands for don't worry about being "black enough". Get to know some of these women by going to their functions and showing interest. Also do your research, don't just try to get in one because you like the colors. Know about these groups.
