Can you move a fireplace?

First let me say I am not a professional construction pro etc. However, I highly doubt that you can 'move' this chimney. The exterior style can be changed though, I would not. This is part of the character of an older home. Your older home's design is known as a Center Chimney. ( much admired style in New England area )
