The difference between men's and women's basketball?

My sister and I are switching between the NBA game between the Heat and Celtics on ABC and the NCAA women's game between LSU and Kentucky on ESPN2. To me, it just looks like the men's game has so much bigger, stronger, faster, and more skilled players. My sister, who is in college, said the NCAA women's players are also among the best players in the world and could beat the men any given day. I just don't see it. I can't see how those NBA guys couldn't destroy the women if they wanted to. What do you think?
