Now that the Iraq/US security agreement is all but dead, does that mean we pack up and leave on December 31st?

The outcome may depend on our election. Other nations, including the UN and Iraq, may be more willing to negotiate with Obama. It is unlikely that under McCain we could expect any different treatment from the international community than under Bush. After he jilted the UN over Iraq, most of the World has been less than cooperative.
