Has anyone read the novel "The Catcher in the Rye"?

I actually just finished reading it. Anyhoo, Holden has some issues with growing up and maturing and becoming an adult. That's why he looks into the adult world with contempt and believes that it's all "phony". He scorns at most adult things, but at the same time, sometimes tries to act more like an adult<--his own phoniness. He wants to know if Jane has changed (like most of his world has, and he doesnt like) or if she's still got some of her child-like habits.
